HatiHati Studios was founded in November 2025 in Hamburg by Paulina Stopa and Kinga Kalinowski – cousins and mothers who wanted a home where active, growing kids can move freely.

Searching for gym rings, trapezes and swings, we kept running into the same problem: cheap, mass-produced goods, poorly made and visually out of place in a home you’ve put your heart into. Yet movement in the first years of life is so crucial for a child’s development – and still, this category is treated as an afterthought by brands and retailers, while toys and children’s fashion have long had beautifully designed products.

Toys get boring. Movement never does.

We know it from our own families: the kids’ room is overflowing with toys – yet most of it is left untouched after a few days. The urge to move, though, never fades. And not every day leaves the time or the energy for the playground. That’s why we develop movement equipment that we’ve put through its paces – in our own circle and with our own children: it doesn’t lose its appeal as quickly as dolls and the like, it’s played with for years, it’s durable, and it quietly builds strength, balance, coordination and healthy development.

Home first

Many children join crawling or gym groups early on – but for the littlest ones, that’s often too much, too soon. Unfamiliar group settings can feel intimidating, and a toddler’s attention span isn’t built for an hour of structured activity yet. We believe the most important movement foundation is built at home – in a familiar, low-pressure environment, at your child’s own pace. That’s exactly what our products are made for.
